How to create your perfect lip shape in three different ways using lip liners

 

Lip liners help to give a fine shape and definition to your lips. The great thing about them is that apart from using them to create illusions of your perfect lip shape, you can use them to alter the colour of your lipstick or create the perfect umbre.

So what if you don't have a purple lipstick? You can use your purple lip liner and rose pink lipstick to create the perfect hue! You don't need to break the bank to get them and you can have as many colours as you like.

Let’s show you three simple ways to recreate your lip shape using lip liners:

To reduce the size of your lips; use your lip liner to draw a line on the inside of your upper and lower lip. Don’t worry if you make a mistake you can use a concealer to clean the edges once you are done.

To make your lips look bigger; this would be the reverse. Here you simply draw the line outside your lip, then apply your lipstick. Be careful not to overdo this method.

To make your lips look shorter: Again draw the line inside the corners of your lips and then use your concealer and lip brush to create a more defined clean look.

Lip liners come in different sizes. Jumbo lip pens are some good ones that can also be worn as lipsticks. It’s definitely a must have in your makeup bag.
