Yemisi Fancy is a fascinating Actress, Singer and TV Presenter. Born on
the 1st of October, this triple treat entertainer plays the character
‘Helen’ on the Mnet’s glamour TV series -Tinsel. A graduate of law from
the prestigious University of Lagos, Yemisi is a Lagosian born into the
‘Fancy’ household.
As a rising actress in Nollywood, she has featured in movie production
titles such as; From Within, Fast Lane and more. Her break into the cast
of Tinsel came in 2012 after reluctantly showing up for an audition
back in 2011. Recently, Yemisi Fancy who also co-hosts a lifestyle talk
show launched into one of her lifelong dreams by dropping her first
music single titled ‘Faraway’.
Faraway is a sensational song. In a mix of sultry and smooth vocals
Yemisi delivered the unconventional lyrics of the song with a peculiar
Afropop tune that will make you swing and groove. The socially conscious
message of the song is very clear as it describes a girl that has had
enough of her cheating and lying boyfriend. Faraway made this month’s
playlist of Naijaloaded.com famous DJ mixtape.
Yemisi continues to work on more good music and she is expected to drop
an EP real soon.
