The Minister of Information and Culture, Lai Mohammed has brought another twist to the current economic situation of the country saying things have gone out of government's control.
In
a news report by ThisDay Newspaper on Saturday, March 12, 2016, Lai
Mohammed reportedly lamented that the situation of the Nigerian economy
is as a result of the negative spiral effect of global economic
meltdown.
Commending President Muhammadu Buhari
for managing to drive the economy, the Information Minister further
revealed that the President’s frequent trips abroad, especially to the
oil-producing nations, is as a result of an urgent need to rally support
for the stability of global oil prices.
He also
noted that the stability of the crude oil will help change the Naira and
attract Foreign Direct Investment FDI into the country.
