Nigerian soul singer Timi Dakolo, 35, is celebrating his father David Dakolo today (February 1) on his birthday.

Timi Dakolo’s mother died when he was 13. Timi Dakolo was born in Ghana but grew up in Port-Harcourt with his grandmother Ateni Dakolo and his aunt Susan Larry.
Timi Dakolo won big at the Headies 2015. The singer won 'Best Male Performance', 'Best R&B Single' and 'Best Recording of The Year' at the awards ceremony.
