The story behind Olajumoke Orisaguna's
rise to celebrity to status unfolds more as her family begins to share
their view on the significant life turn-around, which they revealed was
hardly expected.
Olajumoke's mother, Mrs Ramota Kamorudeen, a vegetable seller at Obada market in Iree shared some of the stories in an interview with newspaper company, Nigerian Tribune in a discussion held in Osun State, the model's hometown.
Before the photobombing incident, Olajumoke was just a bread seller, the average girl on the street whom bore no sign of fame.
Her mother agreed when she said that, "There was no sign and we did not receive any prophecy from a pastor or alfa that she would become famous in the future,
Though
she believed one's greatness can happen through God's intervention and
will, which can change the person's fortune overnight.
She
described her daughter as a lovely child, well-behaved and easygoing.
She does not do anything that can bring problem to her or others.
Though
contrary to what has already been circulating the media concerning why
she didn't proceed beyond her current educational qualification which
Olajumoke attributed to family challenges, her mother said she asked to
be enrolled for apprenticeship as a hairdresser.
Kamorudeen said, "After
she left primary school, she told me that she wanted to learn
hairdressing, so, we took her to a shop here in Iree where she started
to learn the occupation.
"That was the
reason she did not go beyond primary school. After she completed her
apprenticeship a few years.ago, we organised a graduation ceremony for
her."
She
expressed her joy concerning her daughter's fame, and advised to be
obedient to people she will be working with in her career, and hope to
visit her in Lagos when she has settled down.
