A middle-aged female
passenger, who was billed to travel to Abu Dhabi, the United Arab
Emirates (UAE) on an Etihad Airline flight was, yesterday, found dead
inside one the toilets at the departure hall of the Murtala Muhammed
International Airport, Ikeja, Lagos.
The
cause of her death was still sketchy but Daily Sun however learnt that
the woman was on her way to the UAE to seek medical attention.
Spokesman
for the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN), Mr. Yakubu Dati,
who confirmed the incident to Daily Sun, said some airport workers
spotted the corpse of the woman at bout 6:30am.
“The corpse has been deposited at the morgue of the Lagos University Teaching Hospital.
“For now, we cannot say exactly what happened to her,” Dati said.
