Cameroonian chiefs beg president to allow them use witchcraft to fight Boko Haram

Boko Haram fighters The spate of the dreaded Islamic insurgent sect, Boko Haram, attacking and killing innocent people in Nigeria's neighbour, Cameroon, has got the local chiefs in that country worried and have asked their president, Paul Biya, to give them the permission to use their witches and wizards to fight and destroy the sect.

The chiefs believe with the supernatural powers of the witches and wizards, Boko Haram will be decimated.

A journalist in that country, Bisong Etahoben, twitted the resolution of the chiefs on his Twitter account.

Does that mean that Cameroonian witches and wizards are stronger than their Nigerian counterparts? Recall that in 2014, Witches and Wizards Association of Nigeria (WITZAN), led by Dr. Okhue Iboi, had told the nation that they had concluded plans to take the war to the sect and free the country from its strangle hold.

But two years after that declaration, the sect keeps getting fiercer by the day.
