The Charges filed by the Department of State Security against the
director of the Indigenous People of Biafra and owner of Biafra Radio,
Nnamdi Kanu at the Chief Magistrate Court Abuja has been dropped.
Shuaibu Usman, the magistrate of the Chief Magistrate Court, Wuse Zone
2, Abuja, this morning discharged Kanu and struck out the case filed
against him after the Federal government through its agent, the
Department of State Services (DSS), approached the court to withdraw the
case so that a higher court, which has jurisdiction to entertain
charges bordering on terrorism, can take over.
