Do not spend much time talking about your ex. It
doesn't matter how much questioning and probing this date is doing to
make you open up.
Just say "You know what? sometimes people grow apart, you learn in relationships but enough about them, I'd love to get to know you."
Learn
to ask your date questions about themselves, you shouldn't be all about
yourself only. A date should be more like a game of tennis.
