It was an evening of glitz, glamour and paparazzi as the creme de la
creme from government functionaries, members of the diplomatic corp,
business executives and entertainment as well as fashion personalities
gathered to witness the crowning of the maiden Queen of Nigeria World.
At the end, it was 21 years old Miss Onyinyechi Eucharia Ogugua; from
Anambra State representing Pearl Gemstone who emerged as the first ever
Queen of Nigeria World. She's empowered with the grand prize of #300,000
(Three Hundred Thousand naira) to start up any business or pet project
of her choice. Also, she'll be sponsored on a Shopping trip to Dubai and
will go on to represent Nigeria in the Queen of the Universe 2016
Beauty Pageant scheduled to take place in USA, amongst other mouth
watery prizes from partners and sponsors.
Runners up include Miss Diamond - James Kokoma Blessing, from Akwa Ibom state, who is Queen of Nigeria World 1st Runner up won the sum of #200,000 (Two Hundred Thousand naira) and she'll represent the brand at the next Miss Tourism Nigeria Beauty Pageant in Lagos.
And Miss Ruby - Abiodun Lois Ronke, from Ekiti state, who is Queen of Nigeria World 2nd Runner up won the sum of #100,000 (One Hundred Thousand naira) while Miss Jade - Ezeamaka Victoria and Miss Alexandrite - Ene Jessica Yakno-Abasi was crowned Miss Photogenic and Miss Congeniality respectively.
