Joza Global won National Best Transporter of the Year at NB Plc Awards

Joza Global Logistics, a comprehensive cum modernised fleet management solution provider and the biggest individually owned haulage and logistic firm in Nigeria, recently in a Nigeria breweries organised distributor and transporters awards, won the best national key category transporter award of the year 2015. The event took place at the prestigious Oriental hotels in Victoria Island, Lagos.



Achieving this feat consistently a fourth time and also being voted as the best in operations and safety however, has successfully placed him above other big players in the transport industry, as undeniably the overall best. Currently, the transport giant is also the biggest transporter on record in Nigerian breweries, Unicem and PZ, with over a 400 trucks in active fleet.

Nigerian Breweries Sales director, Mr.Hubert Eze, in his inaugural speech, expressed great thanks to all their business partners who have been with them both in thick and thin and also restate their unwavering commitment to continuously reward its outstanding partners for growth. He also added that this year certainly will be a tough one, but reassured everyone that they are going to ride on the storm.

Also going by the Nigerian breweries culture of saving the best for the last, the Managing Director, Mr. Nicholas Vervelde, at a time that was at sync with real business of the day, got up to the podium and carefully delivered the trophy–plaque to Mr Usiakpor Emmanuel, MD/CEO of Joza Global logistics, after a gift donation of a brand new Toyota Hilux have been announced to the company credit. Joza global have also contributed immensely in helping to reduce unemployment in Nigeria by providing gainful employment in different job categories spreaded over nine states in Nigeria, for over a thousand people.

Joseph Benjamin, a popular TV presenter, who also for years now has successfully co-hosted the MTN project fame reality show, was on the driver’s wheel to handle the comperee role. Still on a lighter mood, Seyi Law,one of the Nigerian’s foremost stand-up comedian also thrilled the audience with rib cracking jokes and comedy, while the “elegant stallion”, lady of songs Onyeka Owenu threw up the entire place super charged with her soulful resonating old school tunes. The eclectic Ogun state born singer and artist, Anidugbe Oluwatobiloba Daniels, a.k.a Kiss Daniels and crew treated the audience with his chart topping single “Woju”. Managing Director of Nigeria Breweries Plc , Nicholas Vervelde in his closing remarks, issued out a note of appreciation to its trade partners whose support have helped in placing their various brands as ultimate premium market leader.
