Kevin Hart is everything you need as far as laughing is concerned, but the comedian and actor produced a frankness that inspired all at the 2016 Oscars hosted by Chris Rock.

He shared an inspiring speech concerning the lack of diversity which has been a major concern for the 'people of colour' mainly blacks, who feel a boycott was necessary having not featured in any of the main award categories in the last two years of the Oscars.

"I want to take a moment to applaud all of my actors and actresses of color tonight," Hart said.
"Tonight should not determine the hard work and effort you put into your craft,
"These problems of today eventually become problems of the old. Let's not let this issue of diversity beat us."

Hart advised on choosing to be positive as opposed the negativity surrounding this year's award, saying that the current issue might soon become a thing of the past.

Meanwhile, Oscars host, Chris Rock had taken a different approach to the subject of diversity and the boycott announced by some black actors.

He condemned the boycott and made sarcastic comments about some actors' choice not to attend the award show.
He said, "Why are we protesting this Oscars? It’s the 88th Academy Awards, which means this no black nominees thing happened 71 other times."
"Jada boycotting the Oscars is like me boycotting Rihanna's panties," he added.
He summed up that the boycott movement was dumb and meaningless, stance which took everyone by surprise considering that he is black himself.
