One of the biggest style stars from 2015 had to be the incomparable Academy award winning actress, Lupita Nyong’o.

Not only did she look good each time she stepped on the red carpet but she did it effortlessly even when taking risks. However, one thing stood out; her hair. 

We all know Lupita has very short hair but somehow she managed to keep it looking neat, with a variation of hairstyles that rocked our world. So here are 9 ways the actress rocked her short pretty hair:

 

1.) Left side: She paired the modern look with red lipstick at the Hollywood Reporter party.

2.) Twisting Pompadour: At the MTV Movie Awards, Lupita had a twisted pixie type cut with a super dramatic smokey eye to go with it.

3.) The Wedge: Lupita's hair at the W magazine party reminded us of cool old school movies! Her gold and gunmetal eye shadows made her look so much nicer.

4.) The Widow's Peak: Lupita added on a widow's peak at the Critics' Choice Awards that changed the focus to her silvery eye makeup.

5.) The Princess: The best we’ve had from Lupita has to be the 18-karat gold headband she wore on the Oscars red carpet. She looked like a mature princess when she snagged her award for best supporting actress.

6.) High-Top Hair: The Oscar winner took it a notch higher with a super tall hairdo and turquoise ombré eyes that went well with her Gucci dress.

7.) Deep Side Part: At the Golden Globes, Lupita slayed the red carpet in an extended afro and a side part.

8.) The Crown Braid: Lupita wore her hair in a sleek understated style at the 2015 Glamour Women of the Year Awards.

9.) Kitten Ears: The most interesting of her hairstyles is probably the one that resembled cat ears, which was super cute, at the GLAAD Awards. She finished off her look with a bold green eyeliner and a bright orange lip.
